About Me

I have been teaching for 31 years and still love the contact with the children but the Administration side is becoming overwhelming! Western Australian education has become very political and we are expected to do a lot more paperwork and other duties on our own time.
However, my class of year4/5 children are an absolute delight. I tell them that they are the best class in the Universe! They are wonderful to work with as well as having a lot of fun with. We are very environmentally aware and are involved in Waterwise activities (how to save our precious water resources), Wastewise (how to Reduce-Reuse-Recycle), Planet Ark (recycle ink cartridges), Dry-Cell Battery Recycling and organise a recycling shed where people bring in things that we can use for Science, Art, Technology, Language, etc.
I live on 10acres of virgin jarrah trees and love the lifestlye. We are on a hill but can see the ocean from the kitchen window.
